BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE APP YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS POLICY. If you do not agree, do not use the App and uninstall it from your device.

This Privacy Policy describes how Grid Blast ("we," "us," "our," "Company") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the Grid Blast mobile application ("App"). This Policy complies with applicable privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PIPEDA, and others.

3.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is written to your device's local storage and never transmitted to our servers unless you opt into online features:

  • Game progress and current grid state
  • Score and achievement progress
  • Daily Challenge best score and streak
  • Settings (sound, haptics, theme preferences)
  • Device-generated identifiers (UUID) used only on your device
  • Terms of Service acceptance timestamp

3.2 Data Transmitted to Our Servers (Optional)

If you opt into online features (such as leaderboards), we may collect:

  • Anonymous player identifier from your platform (Apple Game Center or Google Play Games)
  • Game scores and submission timestamps
  • App version and platform (iOS/Android)
  • Coarse country code derived from IP address (IP not stored long-term)
  • Terms acceptance version and timestamp

You may decline online features at any time without affecting single-player gameplay.

3.3 Data Received from Your Platform

When you make an in-app purchase:

  • Apple or Google issues a purchase receipt for entitlement validation
  • We do not store your credit card, billing address, or payment methods
  • Payment is processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store

3.4 Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

If you watch rewarded ads:

  • Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android)
  • On iOS, this requires your opt-in via App Tracking Transparency
  • Coarse location (city/region level, not precise)
  • Device and network diagnostics
  • Ad interaction events

4. How We Use Your Data

  • Gameplay: Track progress, scores, and achievements
  • Services: Display leaderboards and daily challenges

  • Analytics: Improve game balance and performance (aggregate, anonymous data only)

5. Data Retention

Local Device Data: Persists until you uninstall the App or clear its data via your device settings.

Server Data: If you opt into online features, we retain gameplay data for as long as you use those services. You may request deletion at any time.

Deleted Data: Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. This action is permanent.

6. Data Security

We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Restricted access to servers and databases
  • Regular security audits and updates

However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against all attacks.
